  • From third parties, including social media platforms and cloud storage services you use to interact with Reid’s websites.

Course Platforms. The Kajabi app platform Reid uses for many of his online programs provides you with a tool to control the information you share with them and with Reid, which is governed by the policies of the applicable platform.

Cookies. Reid’s websites sometimes use cookies. A “cookie” is a small file that we save on your computer’s hard drive, which contains the user’s IP address. Our cookies help to give you faster access to pages you have already visited, and help you to participate in activities or events on Reid’s websites. They also help us customize our offerings to you. You may choose to disable cookies through your web browser, but doing so may affect your ability to access or use Reid’s websites and courses.

Web Beacons. Web beacons are small graphic images or other programming code (also known as “1×1 GIFS” or “clear GIFs”). We may include web beacons in Reid’s websites’ pages and email messages. Web beacons may be used to count visitors to Reid’s websites, to monitor how users navigate Reid’s websites, and to count how many emails that were sent were actually opened and which links were clicked.

  • For other purposes with your consent.

Information You Share With Us. When you interact with Reid’s websites, events and programs, you may set up your personal profile, add and post content, and transmit information through your social media profiles or email accounts. We may retain this information so that, for instance, you can return to view prior information you have sent and monitor and interact with the content you have posted.

Marketing Communications from Reid. Reid will send you marketing communications only with your express consent. If you choose not to consent, you may still access Reid’s websites, but you may not receive important information about events, features, functionality, and updates of Reid’s websites, events, and programs, or other products Reid thinks may interest you.

Information You Choose To Share Publicly. Reid’s websites and programs allow you to post content (User Submissions) publicly through third-party sites and services (including but not limited to social media sites). Subject to your profile and privacy settings for the applicable third-party site or service, any User Submissions that you make public are visible to and searchable by others. If you remove information that you posted, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or if others have copied or saved that information. Please see our Terms of Service for more information about User Submissions. In addition to User Submissions, Reid’s websites and courses may allow you to post comments in public areas, such as social media networks, community pages, message boards, status updates, or feedback sections. Due to their public nature, User Submissions and comments you share in public areas are not subject to this Privacy Policy. Please be careful about what you choose to share publicly.

4. How We Share Information

We may share non-personally identifiable information, such as aggregated user statistics, with third parties. We do not share your personal information with third parties for third-party marketing purposes, or for any other purpose other than as described in this Privacy Policy. We may share the information we have collected about you, including personal information, as disclosed at the time you provide your information and in the following circumstances:

Third Parties Providing Services on Our Behalf. We use third parties to host Reid’s courses and programs, and sometimes to perform administrative, analytics, and communications services. Services these parties provide include enabling Reid to send you email newsletters and push notifications, which may contain personalized content or information specific to your use of Reid’s websites, programs and events, and evaluating information provided to Reid about the use of Reid’s websites and programs and viewing of Reid’s content. We may disclose your personal information to these companies so they can carry out these services. These companies are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which ReidAllAboutIt, LLC, discloses it to them. We may use: (a) third-party analytics service providers and (b) ad-serving platforms, such as Google and Facebook, which may set and access their own cookies and web beacons on your device. These parties may have access to usage information. They may also have access to pseudonymous or anonymous information about you (such as a unique identification number), which may be combined or associated with information from other sources to identify you.

Sweepstakes, Contests, and Promotions. We may offer sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions (each, a “Promotion”) through Reid’s websites that may require registration. By participating in a Promotion, you agree to the terms, conditions and/or official rules that govern that Promotion. If you choose to enter a Promotion, we may disclose your personal information to third parties or the public in connection with the administration of the Promotion, including, without limitation, in connection with winner selection, prize fulfillment, and as required by law or permitted by the Promotion’s official rules, such as on a winners’ list.

Administrative and Legal Reasons. We may also disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) conform to applicable law or comply with legal process served on us; and (b) protect and defend our rights or property, Reid’s websites, events and programs, its users, or the public.

Business Transfer. We reserve the right to disclose and transfer all information related to the Reid’s websites and programs, including, without limitation, your personal information, demographic information and usage information: (i) to a subsequent owner, co-owner or operator of the Ripl Service or applicable database; or (ii) in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, restructuring, the sale of substantially all of our stock and/or assets or other corporate change, including, without limitation, during the course of any due diligence process.

Links to Other Websites and Services
We are not responsible for the practices employed by websites or services linked to or from Reid’s websites and programs, including the information or content contained therein. Please remember that our Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for, and we do not exercise control over, any third parties that you authorize to access your User Submissions or other publicly posted or shared content. If you are using a third-party website or service (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or others) and you allow such a third-party access to your content, you do so at your own risk. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information we collect by other means (including offline) or from other sources other than through Reid’s websites and programs.

Personal information collected via Reid’s websites and programs is stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the public. In some instances, personal information is encrypted during storage and transmission. Only those ReidAllAboutIt, LLC employees and agents who need access to your Personal Information to do their jobs are allowed access, each having signed confidentiality agreements.

While we make reasonable efforts to safeguard your Personal Information once we receive it, no transmission of data over the Internet or any other public network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or information we transmit to you from the Ripl Service, and you assume all related risks.

We regularly review the information that we collect and store. We retain your personal information for as long as we deem appropriate under our internal data retention policy, or until you request that we delete it. In certain cases, ReidAllAboutIt, LLC, may be required to retain your data to comply with applicable law or in connection with a legal claim.

Other Information

Lawful Bases. We collect and process your personal information only when we have a lawful basis to do so. Lawful bases include your consent, the fulfillment of ReidAllAboutIt, LLC’s contractual rights or obligations, complying with applicable law, and the legitimate interests of ReidAllAboutIt, LLC, or third parties (provided that processing your data for a legitimate interest does not outweigh your rights and freedoms). Examples of a legitimate interest include (i) analyzing user data to maintain and improve Reid’s websites and programs for all users; (ii) providing you with access to Reid’s websites and programs; (iii) providing you with up-to-date information about new features of Reid’s websites and programs; and (iv) engaging third-party providers to deliver certain features of Reid’s websites and programs. You may withdraw your consent or object to a legitimate interest at any time by contacting us at the information provided below.

Cross-Border Transfer. Reid’s websites and programs are hosted on US servers. Any personal information you provide to us will be processed and stored on servers in the US, the laws of which may be deemed by other countries to have inadequate data protection. Accordingly, if you are located outside the US, you consent and continue to consent to the processing and storage of such data in the US.

Do Not Track: Some browsers incorporate a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature that, when turned on, signals to websites and online services that you do not want to be tracked. At this time, Reid’s websites and programs do not respond to DNT signals.

Children Under 18 & Parental Permission. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18 and do not market Reid’s websites and programs to children under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use Reid’s websites and programs or submit any personal information through Reid’s websites and programs. We strongly recommend that parents participate in their children’s exploration of the internet and any online services and use their browser’s parental controls to limit the areas of the internet to which their children have access. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 has provided their personal information to us, please contact us, and we will delete that information.

Your Choices and Our Contact Information
If you choose not to provide personal information, you may be unable to access or use some of Reid’s information, events, and programs.

Accessing Your Personal Information. If you would like to obtain a copy of your personal information gathered by ReidAllAboutIt, LLC, or if you would like to correct or delete such information from Reid’s marketing database, send us an email at Support@ReidAboutSex.com to submit a request. Depending on the law that applies where you live, you may have additional rights, such as the right to request that we send your information to another organization of your choice (where technically feasible).

Opting Out. We only send promotional and marketing communications with your consent. If you no longer wish to receive these or other communications from Reid, send us an email at Support@ReidAboutSex.com. You can stop receiving newsletter email communications from us by clicking on the “unsubscribe link” provided in such communications.

Improper Collection and Misuse of Personal Information. Please report any improper collection or misuse of personal information provided on Reid’s websites, events, and programs to Support@ReidAboutSex.com. Depending on the law where you live, you may also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

The Humorous Disclaimer

Reid Mihalko is not a medical doctor, therapist, tax consultant or a lawyer, nor does he play one on TV, (though he did once play an evil male nurse on the popular daytime soap opera, Another World). The information and coaching provided on ReidAboutSex.com and his other Sites (e.g. Relationship10x.com) are intended to educate, inform, amuse, and inspire you to create the changes you want to see in your relationships, in your bedroom and your sex ed business. It is clearly not intended to replace a one-on-one relationship with a qualified health care or legal professional and is definitely not intended as medical or legal advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are under the care of any health professionals (or should be), talk to them before making any changes to your treatment. Consult with legal and tax professionals as needed- they need love, too!

Additionally, in the interest of being transparent and because the FTC requires it, you should know that many of the links Reid shares are affiliate links. This means that, (while Reid strives to only recommend high quality, amazing products, resources and people), if you spend money at any of those sites, he might make a percentage. He thanks you in advance for funding his Bailey’s and Coffee habit, which is not insignificant! Also know that if someone sent you to his site, and you support Reid’s work by spending money there, someone may be getting a percentage themselves. Reid can’t promise that they’ll spend it on Baileys and Coffee, but he does think it’s good for him to role model being transparent and let you know that some folks may be making money off these recommendations. If you’re interested in learning more about affiliates or becoming one, please go here: ReidAboutSex.com/Affiliate

In closing, if Reid mentions a product, service or book, or you see a review, there’s a good chance he got it free so he could take it for a test-drive, and while getting free stuff may sway Reid’s opinion, in the interest of science and good sex geekery, Reid will always strive to be fair and unbiased. And, for those of you who notice that he rarely gives bad reviews, it’s because Reid would rather reward those who are doing great things with more visibility and by spreading their work than upping the Google ranking for products and people he’s not impressed with.

And now, for those of you who enjoy a more serious tone…

The events, information, and speakers listed on our Sites are subject to change without notification.

We welcome your comments about any of the Sites. However, we will not review or consider any unsolicited creative submissions or suggestions for topics at our seminars or within our newsletters or products. We hope you will understand that this policy is intended to avoid the possibility of future misunderstandings in the event that ideas developed by Reid or Reid’s staff might seem to be similar to the ideas submitted to us. Accordingly, we must ask that you not send us any original creative ideas, suggestions or materials. If, despite our request, you send us any idea, suggestion or material (“Submission”), it shall become our property. We will not be subject to any obligation of confidence for any Submission, and we will not be liable for any use or disclosure of any Submission. In the case that you submit something to us and it is unsolicited, we will exclusively own all rights to the Submission worldwide, and we will be entitled to the unrestricted use of the Submission for any purpose, without compensation or notification to the provider of the Submission. Given this fact, we ask that you refrain from submitting creative projects to us, particularly those that are confidential or personal to you.

A “forum” means any message board, chat room, user review forum or other interactive service appearing on any of the Sites and includes both public boards and private folders. You must register in accordance with instructions that you will find on the Sites in order to contribute to any forum. You may not post on any forum, or send to any other forum user or our staff, any material that is abusive, vulgar, threatening, harassing, libelous, defamatory, obscene, invades a person’s privacy, violates any intellectual or other property rights, or that would otherwise violate any law. You may not use any forum in a commercial manner. You may not post material that solicits funds, or that advertises or solicits goods or services. You may not post material known to be false. You may not post messages that contain stock touts. You may not post or transmit any information, software or other material that contains a virus or other harmful component. We are not responsible for material appearing in any forum on the Sites, except for material signed by one of our identified representatives. We are not responsible for screening material posted by users for libel, obscenity, invasion of privacy, copyright or trademark infringement, accuracy, or for any other reason. We retain, however, the right to modify or remove messages or other material that we, in our sole discretion, consider infringing, offensive, abusive, defamatory, obscene, stale, or otherwise unacceptable. We also reserve the right to edit materials for any other reason. Whether or not we modify or remove such material, users remain solely responsible for the content of their messages or postings. By posting on the Sites, you grant (or warrant that the owner of such rights has expressly granted) us and/or relevant affiliated companies the worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive right to use your questions, comments, and postings, in their original or edited form, in television programs, books, articles, commentaries, or in any other medium now known or later developed. You also warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content you have posted and that the public posting and use of such content by us will not infringe the rights of any third party. Additionally, you warrant that any “moral rights” in posted materials have been waived. You are not entitled to any compensation for any materials you may post on the Sites.

We may, at our discretion, suspend or terminate the registration of any forum user or general user who violates any of these terms of use, any of the forum member guidelines or for any other behavior that we in our discretion believe is inappropriate.

The information, services, products, claims, seminar topics, and materials on our Sites are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied. We disclaim all warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied effectiveness of the ideas or success strategies listed on this site as well as those that are provided in our products or to our participants at our events. Applicable law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages (including but not limited to lost data), so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. In no event shall the total liability to you by us or any of our licensors or suppliers for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) exceed the amount paid by you to us, if any, for accessing the Sites.

On our Sites we will often discuss mature topics of a sexual and emotional nature. We will use language relating to personal and professional growth and accompanying images and videos. Users who are uncomfortable with such topics or language should not use our Sites.

These terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to any principles of conflicts of law.
