Pre-SGSC 2023 Contest
In the interest of warming things up and energizing folks for the work we do, and for Sex Geek Summer Camp 2023, we are proud to announce two pre-Camp contests, just for you!
An Alumni Contest for people who have been to Camp before, and a First-Time Camper/No One Left Out Contest for anyone who’s been following Reid and hearing about Camp. Details below!

Alumni Contest
With so much sex negativity and overwhelm in the world, it’s easy to lose hope and momentum. It can be easy to feel weighed down and forget that we’re not alone in this fight.
In order to recharge and anchor things you’ve learned in the past, we’re resorting to one of our favorite things… Contests!!
For Alumni! — Close your eyes and take a slow deep breath. Think of how Camp helped you feel more confident and clear about being a sex-positive professional:
- How did attending Camp improve/impact your business? Name and talk about a specific thing(s)/idea(s)/interaction(s) that have had a positive impact on your business.
- It could be the friends and connections you made… But HOW did that help you specifically in your career/business?
- It could be the permission to skip class and take some R&R, but how did that impact your business and career after Camp?
- It could be how Cathy talked about story or grad school or Reid’s A.B.E. (Always Be Educating)… But tell a specific example of how it impacted you business…
To anchor and to be of service to your fellow professionals in the trenches, on Social Media share a photo, audio or video (there are tons of photos in the SGPro’s Facebook Camp Alumni Page’s Albums you can use), and share your favorite moment/inspiration/takeaway.
Include #SGSC and #SGSC23 and include the link http://www.SexGeekSummerCamp.com in your post – or, if you’re super social media savvy (and know that dropping links directly in posts can cause the algorithm to shy away from sharing your post), @ link and tag Sex Geek Summer Camp on IG for IG posts or tag SxxGeekSummerCamp on Facebook. If you’re Twitter, it’s @sexgeeksmmrcamp but you can drop the URL directly if you want.
You. Do. You.
You can use any and all social media you like. You can post on Facebook, TikTok, Twiiter, IG, Youtube, your page and any place you think would help fellow sex-positive folks feel connected and renewed. You can even post several and enter more than once (just make them different enough that you feel in integrity that they’re original posts. What will Alumni win?!
Winners will be chosen by random drawing.
First place: $100 Reid Bucks (you could have the first Reid Bucks of the 2023 season!!), a hour session with Cathy to work on Copy, Story, Money or blocks around your business ($180 value), and a surprise toy from Reid’s box of wonders (new in box).
Second place: $75 Reid Bucks (you could have the first Reid Bucks of the 2023 season!!), a half-hour session with Cathy to work on Copy, Story, Money or blocks around your business ($90 value), and a surprise toy from Reid’s box of wonders (new in box).
If there are a lot of entries we reserve the right to award additional prizes.

First-Time Campers/Not To Leave Anyone Out Contest for All:
Not an Alumni because it’s your first time coming to Camp?! Don’t fret! We have a contest for you, too!
Think of what enticed you to come to Camp… Why did you get a ticket?! Was it stories from friends, rumors of the Slip ‘N Slide, S’mores and campfires, the S.W.A.G., the networking?
On social media, share a photo, audio or video (there are tons of photos in the Camp Alumni Page’s Photo Album Folder that you can use, and if you haven’t gotten your ticket and joined the FB group yet, email Reid at Support@ReidAboutSex.com so he can invite you into the FB group) about the things that bring you to camp and/or what you want to get out of attending Camp.
This 2nd contest is also open to alumni and folks who’ve yet to purchase their ticket to Camp! Everyone is invited to participate.

Contest Rules for Both Contests
- Posts must be completed and emailed to Reid and Cathy by April 14, 2023, at midnight pacific.
- You can record/write/snap photos with other folks, but only one prize per submission will be awarded. Decide how you will split your winnings!
- You can submit as many posts/tweets/videos etc as you like! Each submission increases your chances of winning; however, they must be different enough to be original. 10 posts of the same video/photo and description/audio on the same social media platform will count as a single submission.
- You must mention Sex Geek Summer Camp and SexGeekSummerCamp.com in the video.
- You must include #SGSC and #SGSC23 and the link or tag (per the instructions above) to http://www.SexGeekSummerCamp.com, in the description, as an overlay and/or in the comments. Make sure they show in the screenshot.
- You do not need to be in the video/photo/post. You could include a shot of the bonfire, with a voiceover, or a written description that fits the contest.
- Send us an email with “Pre-Camp Contest” in the subject line to Support@ReidAboutSex.com and Cathy@TheIntimacyDojo.com with the link(s) to your Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok or Facebook post(s).
- The post(s) must be public for us to review and access them.
- Enter as often as you like, on different social media platforms, with different insights, different people, etc., to get more chances to win!
And don’t forget to say who you are, and what your business is in your post, if you like! You deserve the recognition, too!
What Will Happen If I Submit a Post?
- We’ll favorite, like, or retweet your link if you post it and send us the link.
- We’ll choose 2 posts in each contest in a RANDOM DRAWING.
- We’re doing this because we don’t want to incentivize over-the-top testimonials. We want you to share from your heart, and help those who might be on the fence to make a great decision. Your sharing helps other people, and it helps you anchor your experiences and get out there on Social Media.
- Winners will be announced on 4/18/2023.
