Sponsor Contest Deadline: Friday, Midnite, June 28th, 2019

Announcing: It’s the Camp SPONSOR VIDEO CONTEST

We had a blast with last 4 year’s Video Contest, and we’re upgrading the way we’re doing it this year!

Cathy Vartuli from TheIntimacyDojo will be coordinating the contests.

People who participated previous years, got huge kudos and admiration from their peers, received recognition and “sex geek cred” on social media, learned new skills, and cemented new collaborations and friendships (One great way to bond with your fellow Campers is to ask them if they want to do a video with you, and, if they say yes, follow through and shoot it, and post it!).

Some of those courageous and creative souls also won FABULOUS PRIZES!

Contest Rules

1. Videos must be submitted by Friday, June 28th at 11:59pm Pacific.
2. Videos must be between 2 and 5 minutes in length. (minus 1 point for each minute it goes longer than 5).
3. Extra points for sharing about or having some fun aspect of/from Camp showing (This is great practice for when you have sponsors or other people to help promote for)!
4. You get +1 point for recording your video with another Camper or several Campers! (you can do this on Skype, btw!) Another point for collaborating with someone you never worked with before! And +1 point for recording with a 1st year Camper!
5. You can submit as many videos as you like! Each video increases your chances of winning; however, they must be different videos (re-editing the same video only counts as 1 submission).
6. You must mention Sex Geek Summer Camp, SexGeekSummerCamp.com, and include Sex Geek Summer Camp in the video’s Title when you post it (partly, so we can quickly find them!). Minus 1 point for excluding SGSC or the url in the video.
7. PLEASE DISCLOSE that the product(s) you’re reviewing you received for free from attending Sex Geek Summer Camp and that these products were provided by companies who sponsored Camp.
8. If you are shy or don’t feel comfortable, you can also interview someone on video about the product and submit that!
9. We’ll have a Shooting Video Clinic at Camp during lunch on Monday, in the Teaching Dome. You don’t need to attend the Clinic to enter the contest – this is for people who are new to Video or want to upgrade their Video skills.
10. Extra points for Sponsors and their website being named, and products demo’ed. Please only reference one Sponsor per video, since they will sometimes put them on their site and may promote them in social media. Include their name in the title for best recognition.
11. We’re not sure how the internet will handle all the folks… so you may find it easier to uploaded to Social Media AFTER Camp. Get your most reliable partner to upload these right after Camp.
12. Send us an email with “Camp Video Contest” in the subject line to Support@ReidAboutSex.com with the link(s) to your Youtube, Twitter, or Facebook posted video.
13. Contest Deadline: Videos must be uploaded by 11:59pm Pacific on Friday, June 28th, along with emailed links.

And don’t forget to say who you are, your URL (If you have one), and what your business is! You deserve the recognition, too!

What Will Happen If I Submit a Video?

• As long as we can grab your video or link, it will be included on a webpage on ReidAboutSex.com and I will announce the Sponsor Video contest with the link to that page to my list.
• I’ll favorite, like, or retweet your link. And make sure any sponsors mentioned are given a link to your video.
• I will choose the winning videos based on merit, (at least one award will be reserved for someone(s) who are relatively new to making video!)
