How To Flirt With Star Wars Fans

by Reid on May 9, 2025

Happy May, Sex Geek!

Did you know that it’s International Masturbation Month? And did you know that May also contains something nerdier as well… Something waaaaay nerdier?! 👀

If you have a Star Wars fan in your life, share this post with them. If you have someone you WISH was a Star Wars fan, share this with them, too!

Why?

Because I’m about to share some Star Wars nerdery that could help get YOU or a friend some out-of-this-world action this month! 🚀

If that feels fun, read on… If you just want to see where I’ll be teaching next, scroll down or jump to my online calendar.

How Is Star Wars Going To Get Me Laid?

Truth be told I was trying to get this email out on the 4th like a dutiful Star Wars nerd (explanation below), but got waylaid by other obligations. However, I thought this topic was funny (and useful) enough to continue working on it and sent it out today because spring has sprung and a little nerd-knowledge can go a looooong way in the romance department, if you know what you’re doing. Trust me. 😜

If you didn’t already know, May 4th has a VERY special meaning for Star Wars fans, and it began back in the late 70’s when May 4th became Star Wars Day! And Star Wars Day has sparked all sorts of hilarity. Don’t believe me? Just do a Google search for “Star Wars Day” and see what Google has done just to commemorate searching for the phrase! – Check it out… It worked for me in Chrome AND Safari! What do you see when you click the link above?

And that’s just the Google Search!

Why Settle For Just ONE Day?

As the Force would have it, one day was not enough to contain the love and nerdy wit of Star Wars fans across the galaxy… For, as the franchise grew, so did the Star Wars Day calendar… Into a whole week! Albeit not all of the days have caught on in popularity, but not for lack of trying or creativity!

My Favorite Days So Far (and links to some history, if you’re curious):

But what about getting some action, Reid? How does THAT work?

Two Surefire Ways To Flirt with a Star Wars Fan…

  1. Lovingly Troll Them
  2. Show Deep Knowledge

When flirting with a geek or nerd who happens to be a Star Wars fan, you have as many choices as there are Disney Star Wars shows, but for the sake of brevity, here are my two favorite approaches…

  1. SASS (A.K.A. Lovingly Trolling Them): If you like to flirt in a bratty way or take the piss out of someone you like, might I suggest baiting them with an obvious mis-meme… Works every time!
  2. DEEP KNOWING: If you like flirting via deep, nerd-connection and want to leave them feeling seen and validated to give them butterflies, go with a meme or GIF that contains layers, leaving them feeling seen & smart for their love and knowledge base while YOU demonstrate your deep appreciation and know-how of the subject!

Can you tell which of the above memes is which? Leave a comment and tell me which approach fits your self-expression best… You can also be someone who —ahem— loves going both ways! #JediInTheStreetsSithInTheSheets 😉

Again, these are just two approaches. What are some nerdy, geeky ways YOU like to flirt or be flirted with? Please comment and share. I’d love to hear from you.

P.S. Here’s a BONUS way that I like to flirt with Star Wars fans… I call it the Mashup Meme!

It’s where you take two fanbases/fandoms and mix them together like a mashup song! It can fall flat because they can sometimes feel like you’re trying too hard… But when you get it right, when you find the right meme… Boom! It’s 2-for-1 nerdery that shows how clever you are. Nerd swooooooon. #TellMeLess
