Cathy: And Reid, what is a polycule?
Reid: You’re the scientist with a 19 patents and a PH.D what’s a cule?
Cathy: I assure you they did not teach us polycule in grad school.
Reid: Really? Who’s up in grad school? Polycule is a term in a non-monogamy community the polyamory community. Poly and emery that’s a bad word coz it’s a Latin and Greek mixed together but it is a very diverse word but word nerds will get weird about that. But it means many loves and in an open relationship world I first heard the term polycule from Koe Creation and a polycule is basically a term for your poly family the little network. The molecule of people that you’re dating, sleeping with scene and emotional relationships with coz poly doesn’t have to be about sex but it can include sex. So multiple loves and how that all swirls around itself and that’s a polycule.
Cathy: It’s a useful term to have whether you’re a poly or not because if you’re a monogamous or don’t identity poly you may have still friends and have polycules. And I’d like to know what these things mean?
Reid: And maybe with your friends, maybe you’re not polygamous but you have a friend cule so you maybe wanna go out there and cule the world.
