Allison: Well, I’m Allison Moon of http://GirlSex101.com/ and I’m here at Sex Geek Summer Camp. I really love camp and it’s not just because I love the man who runs it. I think that it’s an incredibly valuable experience for sex educators, all different kinds, to get together, see who else is in the industry. Often times we’re all kind of in our own little zones across the country, across the world, so being able to mingle, meet, get to know what other people are up to and how they’re running their businesses is incredibly useful. And also just spending a week among like-minded, progressive, sex-positive people is almost worth the price of admission itself. Just feeling like we can find community, often times in a disparate world. It’s really beautiful. I think that many people might having anxiety about coming because it might be their first event anything like this. I think it’s an incredibly safe environment and I encourage people who are curious, who feel like there’s something for them here to come, because it’s actually very low risk and it’s a low investment in many ways and at the same time it can have incredible benefits for your career and also for your just personal development.
