📢 Calling all Campers! It’s time to unleash your creativity in the Sex Geek Summer Camp 2024 Sponsor Video Contest! Get ready for an exciting opportunity to network, laugh, learn, and practice new skills. Here are the contest details to get you started:
🎥 Contest Details:
- Sponsor Contest Deadline: Monday July 15th, 2024 at Midnight Pacific Time
- Contest Coordinator: Cathy Vartuli from TheIntimacyDojo will be leading the way.
- Previous participants received huge kudos and admiration from their peers, gained recognition and “sex geek cred” on social media, learned new skills, and formed lasting collaborations and friendships. Want to bond with fellow Campers? Ask them to join you in a video and create something amazing together!
📝 Contest Rules:
- Videos must be submitted by Monday July 15th, 2024 at 11:59 pm Pacific. Videos may be submitted by email directly or by emailing the links to the videos to Cathy@TheIntimacyDojo.com
- Video length should be between 30 seconds and 5 minutes.
- Focus on ONE sponsor in each video, but feel free to submit different videos for different sponsors. You can even submit multiple videos for each sponsor, as long as they are unique (e.g., group vs. individual, how-to vs. benefits, different models of product).
- Submit as many videos as you like to increase your chances of winning, but make sure they are different (re-edits of the same video count as one submission).
- Earn extra points by incorporating fun aspects or experiences from Camp into your videos. This is excellent practice for future promotions with sponsors or others.
- Collaborate with other Campers in your videos to earn additional points. Use platforms like Zoom or Skype for video conferences. Working with someone new or a first-year Camper will also earn you extra points!
- When posting your video, mention Sex Geek Summer Camp, SexGeekSummerCamp.com, and include “Sex Geek Summer Camp” in the video title (so we can easily find them!). Deduct 1 point for excluding SGSC or the URL in the video.
- Mention the sponsor in the video and include the name of the sponsor in the title.
- Please disclose that any reviewed products were received for free from attending Sex Geek Summer Camp and were provided by sponsoring companies.
- If you’re shy or uncomfortable appearing on camera, you can interview someone about the product instead. You can use a nickname and exclude showing your face. Remember, creativity knows no limits – a previous winning video featured talking Camp Ducks!
- While attendance at the Shooting Video Clinic is optional, it offers valuable tips and upgrades for those new to video or looking to enhance their skills.
🏅 Prize Categories:
- Sponsor Best In Class Category: A top video will be chosen for each sponsor. Increase your chances by submitting videos for each sponsor. Winners in this category will receive $200 in “Reid Bucks” that can be used to purchase items from Reid’s store*. (Prize is for the video, not per person in group review videos!) PLUS be entered into the drawing for the Fun Factory (not available in stores) toy!
- Best In Group Review Category: Videos with multiple reviewers are eligible for this category. The winning video will receive $200 in “Reid Bucks.”
- Best Newbie Award Category: This category is for beginners or those with minimal video experience. Let us know how many videos you’ve shot in your submission email to identify newbies. The winning video in this category will receive $200 in “Reid Bucks.”
- The Grand Prize – Overall Top Video Review Category: The grand prize winner will receive $300 in “Reid Bucks” and an nJoy Eleven!
Please note that the Overall Winner will not be eligible for best-in-category awards unless there are no other contestants in a category.
To submit your videos, email Cathy@TheIntimacyDojo.com with the subject line “Camp Video Contest” and include the link(s) to your Youtube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, or Facebook posted video. Remember, the video must be shared publicly so we can see it.
📅 Contest Deadline:
Videos must be uploaded by Monday July 15th, 2024 at Midnight, along with the emailed links.
And don’t forget to introduce yourself, provide your URL (if applicable), and share what your business is! You deserve the recognition too!
🎉 What Will Happen If I Submit a Video?
Once we have your video or link, we’ll include it on a webpage on ReidAboutSex.com. We will also announce the Sponsor Video contest with a link to that page to our mailing list.
Expect us to favorite, like, or retweet your video link. We’ll make sure to provide any mentioned sponsors with a link to your video as well.
Prize is for the video, not per person in group videos! We LOVE collaboration… and the video gets the prize, you get to figure out how to split it up! 🙂
Cathy and Reid will choose the winning videos based on merit, with at least one award reserved for newcomers to video creation!
Please note that the Overall Winner (as of this year) will not be eligible for the best-in-category awards unless there are no other contestants in a particular category.

- Be entered in the drawing for the Fun Factory, not available in stores, toy!
